Business Services Manager
A business advisory firm based in Melbourne is currently seeking an Accountant Manager to join its growing Business Services Division.
Responsibilities:Preparing financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS, FBT or payroll tax returns for individuals, Companies, Partnerships and Trusts.Expert utilisation of a range of accounting software including Xero, MYOB and QuickBooksProviding tax planning and business advisory services to clients, including analysing financial and non-financial information to assist clients to monitor performanceDevelop strong relationships with clients and seek to further these relationships through quality product deliveryManage the team training and mentoring with responsibilities to help grow the team’s knowledge and contribute to the business as a whole.Managing multi-jurisdiction teams and coordination with other experts engaged in the project.
Qualifications:5+ years’ experience within Business Advisory, with strong technical skills;Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar and CA / CPA Qualified;A solid understanding of accounting standards and reporting responsibilities;Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written;Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;Expertise using accounting software including APS, MYOB and cloud-based tools e.g., Xero, QuickBooks;Have work rights, Australian Citizenship or hold Permanent Residency status in Australia.
