About the role

Exciting opportunity for a Commis Chef to join the talented culinary team at The Park Wyndham pty ltd, T/A The Park Werribee. As a full-time Commis Chef , you will be taught to be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality meals to our guests.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and cooking a wide range of dishes to exceptional standards

• Working closely with all chefs in your section

• Maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards

• Collaborating with the Head Chef to create menu items whilst continuing to improve them

• Ensuring efficient, timely, and organised workflow in your section of the kitchen

• Proactively identifying and resolving any issues that may arise during service

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1 years' experience as a Commis Chef or equivalent role in a high-quality restaurant or hotel kitchen

• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation

• Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills

• Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team

• Passion for creating exceptional culinary experiences

• Relevant food safety and hygiene certifications
