About the role We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join the People & Culture team at Carlisle Health and partner closely with our Radiology business.
Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, this is an exciting opportunity for a confident HR professional who enjoys working alongside leaders, navigating complex people matters and translating business priorities into practical people solutions.
As a trusted HR advisor, you will partner with leaders across clinical, operational and support functions to build high-performing teams, strengthen leadership capability, manage employee relations effectively and enhance the overall employee experience.
You will operate across both the strategic and operational aspects of HR, bringing sound commercial judgement, strong employee relations expertise and a proactive approach to workforce planning, organisational development and change.
This role will suit an HR professional who is comfortable working in a dynamic healthcare environment, can build strong relationships quickly and is confident providing pragmatic, solutions-focused advice to leaders at all levels.
The successful candidate will be ideally based in Sydney or Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business PartnershipPartner with Radiology leaders to align people strategies with business and workforce priorities.Provide trusted HR advice and coaching to leaders across the employee lifecycle.Support workforce planning and use people data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.Contribute to Carlisle Health’s People & Culture strategy and initiatives.
Employee Relations & ComplianceProvide advice and support on performance, conduct, grievances, investigations and workplace matters.Coach leaders to manage complex people issues fairly, consistently and confidently.Provide guidance on employment legislation, awards, enterprise agreements and HR policies.Ensure people practices meet legislative, regulatory and organisational requirements.
Talent & Workforce PlanningPartner with leaders on workforce planning, recruitment and retention strategies.Support recruitment across clinical, operational and support roles.Contribute to talent reviews, succession planning and workforce capability initiatives.
Learning, Development & PerformanceSupport leaders to build a high-performance and accountable culture.Identify capability needs and support leadership and employee development.Drive performance, talent and succession planning initiatives across Radiology.
Employee Engagement & CultureChampion Carlisle Health’s values and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture.Partner with leaders on employee engagement and experience initiatives.Support wellbeing, diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Change & Organisational DevelopmentLead and support people-related change, including organisational design, restructures and integration activities.Coach leaders through change and provide practical advice to minimise people-related risks.Support initiatives that improve organisational effectiveness and employee experience.
Remuneration & HR ProgramsSupport remuneration reviews, job evaluations, incentives and reward initiatives.Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of HR policies, programs and frameworks.Support broader People & Culture projects and initiatives as required.
Skills and ExperienceTertiary qualification in HR, Business, Psychology, Employment Relations or a related discipline.Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor, ideally in healthcare, Radiology or a complex environment.Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and contemporary HR practices.Demonstrated experience managing employee relations matters, including performance, conduct, grievances and investigations.Proven ability to partner with leaders and deliver practical, business-focused HR solutions.Strong coaching, influencing, communication and stakeholder management skills.Sound judgement, discretion and the ability to manage competing priorities autonomously.
DesirableExperience in healthcare, Radiology, allied health or another regulated environment.Experience supporting multi-site or geographically dispersed teams.Experience in change management, organisational development or workforce planning.AHRI membership or equivalent professional accreditation.
