Our Business of 30 plus years has been operating within the SA Produce Markets. We are a wholesale supply company supplying Fresh Quality Produce, Nuts, Confectionary, Flowers, Plants, Eggs and Packaging to Independently owned supermarkets throughout South Australia, regional areas, and Northern Territory. This position is full time Monday to Saturday.

• An excellent understanding of pricing and gross profit.

• A strong confident knowledge of merchandising, products layouts, promotions, and identifying increase sales opportunities.

• Liaise with Store owners and Fruit & Veg Managers to identify any potential weaknesses and provide solutions to rectify issues.

• Ordering and cost control experience.

• Passion and enthusiasm, with a “hands on” approach. Problem solves and ability to work independently.

• Excellent communication skills. Ability to liaise across all levels of staff, management, and customers.

• Outstanding commitment to customer service.

• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with our customers.

• Display a passion for fruit & veg and the retail industry.

• Express a “can do” attitude and work in a team environment as a team member.

Your responsibilities could include.

• Daliy stores visits of local stores merchandising, taking orders and creating new relationships.

• Daliy sales calls, data entry and warehouse duties.

• Phone calls, emails, faxing and general communication with customers stakeholders and key staff.

• Solving customers issues, complaints, questions as required.

• Traveling interstate and country; regularly throughout the year.

Skills and Experience

• Must have extensive knowledge and store experience in running a fruit & veg department.

• Must be able to relay a fruit and veg department through the seasons.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite, Excel and Outlook.

• Prior experience in a similar role.

• Proactive and self-motivated manner to take ownership and responsibility for the role.

• Forklift License for warehouse duties.

Package

• Great Salary - Monday to Friday start time 4am with finishing times varying. Every second Saturday 4am to 6:30am.

• Travel - Includes a meal allowance.

• Company Ute with petrol card.
