As Pharmacist in Charge, you will oversee the day-to-day professional operations of the pharmacy, ensuring the delivery of exceptional healthcare services while leading and supporting a committed pharmacy team.

• Manage the daily operations of the dispensary and pharmacy.

• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy legislation, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Provide high-quality clinical advice and counselling to patients.

• Conduct medication reviews and support quality use of medicines initiatives.

• Lead, mentor, and support pharmacists, dispensary technicians, and pharmacy assistants.

• Foster a positive team culture focused on customer service and patient outcomes.

• Oversee dispensing accuracy, workflow management, and stock control processes.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with local healthcare providers and the wider community.

• Support and drive professional services including vaccinations, health checks, and other clinical programs.

• Monitor and manage key pharmacy performance indicators.

• Ensure a safe, professional, and welcoming pharmacy environment.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA.

• Previous experience in a community pharmacy setting.

• Experience in a leadership or Pharmacist in Charge role is preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
