About the role:

As a Systems Administrator, you will provide IT support to Zarraffa’s stores, franchisees, and corporate employees, ensuring technology systems and equipment remain operational and reliable. You will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, manage support requests, escalate where required, and help maintain business continuity across the network. This role requires a proactive, customer-focused approach and a commitment to delivering excellent service while supporting the adoption of new technologies.

Key Duties:

• Administer Microsoft 365, Azure and Microsoft Entra ID services, including users, groups, devices, permissions, authentication, licensing, conditional access and identity security controls.

• Management of Microsoft Azure Cloud services including VMs, storage, networking, NSGs and RBAC

• Practical experience writing PowerShell scripts for automation, reporting, user/device management, and policy enforcement

• Strong understanding of hybrid identity, cloud authentication, and Zero Trust principles

• Support and maintain network services across corporate and store environments, including VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, routing, switching and secure connectivity.

• Strong capability in Intune / Autopilot, device compliance, configuration policies, application deployment and endpoint security

• Participate in incident, problem and change management processes, including risk assessment, implementation planning, stakeholder communication and post-change review.

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 escalation support for complex incidents and service requests, ensuring issues are documented, prioritised, investigated and resolved within agreed business expectations.

• Support POS, EFTPOS, store technology, trailer technology and new-store technology deployments to ensure operational readiness and reliable trading capability.

• Monitor cyber security alerts, administer Microsoft Defender capabilities, coordinate vulnerability remediation and support Zero Trust-aligned security improvements.

Skills, Experience and Attributes of the ideal candidate:

• Strong understanding of Cyber Security best practice.

• Previous experience in a system administration role

• University degree in the field of IT or similar experience

• Experience within a Franchisee network (beneficial)

• Strong understanding of Retail or QSR technology requirements

• Proven experience acting as an escalation point

• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stake holders.
