About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to provide safe, consistent support for a participant with complex behavioural needs. This role requires someone who is calm, confident, and able to provide structure, emotional regulation support, and proactive care.

You will:

• Provide safe, person-centred support that promotes independence, emotional stability, and daily living skills, including personal care and meal preparation.
• Collaborate with management and the wider team to deliver positive participant outcomes.
• Provide behaviour support that promotes stability, safety, and independence at home and in the community.
• Confidently support participants with high-intensity behaviours and physical support needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and incident reporting.
• Show empathy, patience and a commitment to participant wellbeing.

Roster

Week 1

• Monday: 9am – 12pm & 3pm – 9pm
• Tuesday – Friday: 3pm – 11pm

Week 2:

• Monday: 3pm – 9pm
• Tuesday – Friday: 3pm – 11pm

What You’ll Need

• NDIS Worker Screening (Yellow Card)
• Working with Children Check
• NDIS Orientation Module Certificate
• First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Australian Driver’s Licence
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in complex disability care.
