About You

This role requires energetic individuals who seek to make a difference in residents' daily living. Although this is a back of house role, meals are sometimes the residents favourite part of the day so we want individuals who can put a smile on the resident’s faces

You need to be a very active person as you are on your feet for most of your shift!

The Role

• Preparing and serving meals and drinks to residents

• Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen 

• Sweeping and mopping floors, washing dishes, benches & cutlery and disposing of rubbish 

• Setting the dining room for daily meals

• Adhering to and supporting WH&S and general Food Safety Compliance activities 

• Cleaning of facility – residents rooms, bathrooms, common areas, dusting, vacuuming and sweeping. Attention to detail is a must.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 months paid experience in an Aged Care Facility or hospital

• Food Handlers Certificate (essential)

• Valid National Police Check

• Fully COVID-19 vaccinated (in line with state requirements)

• Valid driver’s licence, reliable vehicle, and mobile phone

• Be willing to complete mandatory training through Crewe Sharp's onboarding process
