About the Opportunity:

Tokio Marine is currently seeking an Internal Audit Consultant to join our team and deliver high-quality Internal Audit outcomes, working closely in collaboration with business units to support organisational objectives by enhancing governance, risk management, and internal controls, thereby contributing to overall business integrity and operational effectiveness.

The Internal Audit Consultant key functions is focused on ensuring the effectiveness and integrity of an organisation?s operations, risk management, and compliance processes. 

In this role, key responsibilities include:

? Support, plan, and execute planned Audits.

? Assisting in the development of Internal Audit plans and scope for individual audits based on risk assessment and organisational priorities.

? Lead audit engagements from planning to execution including preparation of audit program, required workpapers, documenting evidence and audit report.

? Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and risk management practices to identify areas for improvement.

? Assist in preparation of detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management.

? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights on operational efficiencies.

? Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.

? Assist in managing, tracking, and reporting on agreed Internal Audit actions.

? Collaborate with the business teams to establish trusted advisor relationship.

? Working with the co-source service provider to execute the audit plan.

About You:

As our preferred candidate, you will:

? Bring an understanding of the Internal Audit methodology

? Have an ability to approach and stakeholders for executing effective audits.

? Demonstrated internal audit experience in Insurance ideally, within Financial services or internal audit consulting roles

? Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.

? Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

? Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CIA preferred.

? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
