Internal Vacancy – Team Leader | Picton, NSW

Embrace Community Care is seeking a motivated, caring and reliable person to join our team as a Team Leader in the Picton NSW.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting people with disability and is looking to develop their leadership and coordination skills within a supportive community services environment.

As a Team Leader, you will help coordinate the day-to-day operations of our services and support our Support Workers to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Supporting and guiding Support Workers
2. Assisting with day-to-day service coordination
3. Communicating effectively with participants, families and staff
4. Helping ensure supports are delivered according to participant needs and preferences
5. Supporting staff with day-to-day questions and concerns
6. Maintaining accurate records, documentation and shift information
7. Promoting a positive, respectful and inclusive environment
8. Following Embrace Community Care policies, procedures and NDIS requirements
9. Identifying and escalating concerns, incidents and issues to management when required
10. Supporting effective communication between staff, participants and management
11. Helping maintain a safe and supportive environment for participants and staff
