Bookkeeper

We are a family business based in the Inner West of Sydney; we have been operating for around 25 years servicing clients around Sydney. Currently, we are seeking a part-time bookkeeper to expand our accounts team - the role will be focused strictly on the accounts and will not be affiliated with any funeral servicing.

The candidate we are seeking must have full working rights in Australia, preferably with experience of 2+ years in a bookkeeping role (or similar) & great communication skills as you will be working within a team.

• Process payroll

• Organise superannuation payments

• Prepare group bas

• Assist with bas payments

• Prepare various bank reconciliations

• Prepare and manage accounts receivable

• Prepare and manage accounts payable

• Manage Xero accounts on a day-to-day basis

• Liaise with external tax accountants

• Prepare monthly budgets and prepare monthly reports to directors

• Prepare ad hoc duties as required by directors
