FULL TIME AGED AND DISABLED CARER

About the Role: As an Aged and Disabled Carer, you will report to the Care Services Manager. We are looking for a compassionate and qualified candidate who is dedicated to improving the lives of our clients. This is a Full-time role.

Location: 97 Weewar Circuit South Yunderup WA 6208

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide personalised care and support to clients in their homes, assisting with daily activities and personal care needs
• Assist clients with mobility, including transfers and positioning using appropriate equipment
• Support clients' independence by helping with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when required
• Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and bed making
• Plan and accompany clients during social activities and community engagement
• Monitor clients' health conditions and report any changes to the Care Coordinator
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and complete required documentation
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
• Run errands including shopping and collecting prescriptions as needed

HEALTH AND SAFETY:

• Comply with all Work Health and Safety legislation requirements
• Follow infection control procedures and maintain a safe working environment
• Report any hazards or incidents immediately to management

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year full-time relevant experience
• Current First Aid certificate
• Valid National Police Clearance
• Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

Pay: AUD 73,000 – AUD 80,000.00 per annum (excluding Superannuation)
