Kitchen Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at QEII and take ownership of the day-to-day kitchen operation. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves great food, knows how to keep a kitchen running smoothly and enjoys getting the best out of their team.

We’re passionate about fresh, delicious food made from scratch. From fresh salads and sandwiches to snacks, catering and daily service, we focus on quality without compromising on speed or consistency.

You’re an experienced Kitchen Manager, Chef or Senior Cook who thrives in a busy environment. You’re organised, practical and confident leading a team while keeping service running smoothly.

You’ll bring:

• 2+ years’ experience in a similar kitchen leadership role

• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen

• A passion for fresh, casual food and quality produce

• Strong organisation and time-management skills

• The ability to produce high volumes of quality food efficiently

• Experience managing, training and motivating kitchen staff

• Experience with ordering, stock control and kitchen administration

• Excellent attention to detail and high food presentation standards

• A hands-on approach and willingness to jump in wherever needed

• Strong communication and people skills

• A positive, can-do attitude and genuine team spirit

• A current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
