Site Manager

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join the team at Castle Projects. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of construction projects on various locations in Perth WA. The immediate need is for a $9M education project in the northern suburbs of Perth, 20 mins from the CBD.

Australian citizens and permanent residents are preferred for this position.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards

• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns that arise

• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and procedures to optimise efficiency and productivity

• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving any potential problems or risks

• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

• Collaborate with the wider team to identify areas for process improvement and innovation

What we're looking for

• Substantial experience (5+ years) in a site management or senior supervisor role within the construction industry (prefer head supervisor experience)

• Experience must be specifically in commercial construction projects

• Minimum experience managing commercial construction projects valued between $5M-$20M

• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and equipment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a range of stakeholders

• Proven track record of delivering construction projects on time and within budget

• Proficient in project management software and tools, including Procore and Breadcrumb (training available)

• Thorough knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide effective leadership

• Trade or tertiary qualification desirable
