Registered Nurse Acute Medical

A great opportunity exists for an experienced Registered Nurse who is ready to take the next step in their career support our Acute Medical Ward at Joondalup Health Campus. Permanent full-time or part-time position!

About the Role

Working on an Acute Medical unit at Joondalup Health Campus you will be responsible for providing care for patients with acute medical illnesses, complications of chronic diseases and patients who need investigation of acute and undiagnosed medical illnesses.

Working as a Registered Nurse, your role will involve, but is not limited to;

• Delivery of high-quality patient care to a diverse range of acute care patients;
• Ability to use initiative, self-motivation, work as a team member with minimal supervision;
• Demonstrates relevant clinical skills and knowledge in area of speciality
• Assessing, planning, coordinating and evaluating the care delivery needs of patients; and
• Ensuring all care is delivered in line with the core values and strategic direction of Joondalup Health Campus and Ramsay Health Care.  

About you

• To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting with clinical and cardiology experience.
• Your ability to support a multidisciplinary team, along with your positive and “can do” attitude is essential for this role.

The successful candidates will also meet the following criteria:

• Relevant registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• At least 12 months acute medical nursing experience 
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated exceptional customer service
• A commitment to regular shifts 
• Demonstrated commitment to uphold and promote the Ramsay Way core values
• Promoting and participating in team building and decision-making.

Desirable

Specialty experience will be highly regarded.

Remuneration

On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from; $41.85 – 54.68 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (WA gr1-gr8)
