Lifestyle Coordinator

Benalla Health is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Lifestyle Coordinator to lead and coordinate engaging lifestyle and wellbeing programs within our Residential Aged Care service. This is an exciting opportunity to make a genuine difference by supporting residents to remain active, connected, independent and engaged in activities that bring purpose and enjoyment to their daily lives.

The Opportunity

As the Lifestyle Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating and evaluating resident-centred lifestyle programs that promote physical, emotional, social, cultural and spiritual wellbeing. Working closely with residents, families, volunteers and the multidisciplinary team, you will create opportunities that enhance quality of life and support resident choice and independence.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and coordinating monthly lifestyle activity programs
• Facilitating individual and group activities
• Organising special events, celebrations and community engagement opportunities
• Coordinating lifestyle staff and volunteer support
• Facilitating resident meetings and gathering resident feedback
• Monitoring participation, outcomes and documentation requirements
• Leading quality improvement initiatives within lifestyle services
