Program Coordinator - Student Services

This is a 12 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2027 with possible extension and/or permanency

The Role

Ideally, we are seeking an experienced, dynamic, adaptable and collaborative Student Services Program Coordinator who is an outstanding leader for our vibrant Student Services team to supporting our students.

The successful applicant would display strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively use Trauma Informed Practice, adopt a restorative approach to conflict, and apply their knowledge to broker the best outcomes for students through their outstanding, complex case management skills. It is highly desirable that the successful applicant is committed to and models the values espoused in the college ethos and core of Pursuing Personal Excellence, Building Positive Relationships, and Demonstrating Social Responsibility. Actively supporting staff by modelling restorative practices, facilitating professional dialogue, and coaching teachers to build positive, respectful relationships with students and colleagues.

A key responsibility would be to further develop and lead staff across the College to implement the Mentor Program.  This program is one of the main strategies to maximise early intervention and involves all staff working directly with an allocated number of individual students on a regular basis.

The Student Services Program Coordinator would be part of the senior leadership team and contribute to whole school review and planning, manage and deliver on an operational plan. Also, they would be responsible for the performance development of non-teaching staff and have the ability to utilise a growth coaching approach to mentor staff on a needs basis.
