About the role:

We are currently seeking a Coordinator: Residential Care to join our team in Gladstone. Our Coordinator: Residential Care oversees the Residential program in Gladstone, providing leadership and direction for strong participant outcomes. The Coordinator manages a team ensure quality care and support for young people

 What will a typical day look like?

• Ensure adequate and effective staffing and scheduling of support for young people within budget and roster guidelines, including proactive workforce management
• Support program staff to gain and maintain a sound understanding of young people’s needs based on an understanding of trauma, grief, loss, attachment and child development.
• Contribute to the improvement of services for the best outcomes for young people.
• Assist with the establishment and development of a strong and positive team environment to ensure excellent communication between team members.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Diploma or bachelor qualifications in Social Services/Child Protection or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in coordination of supports for people with complex needs.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Blue Card (working with children check positive notice or exemption)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Yellow Card (disability services positive notice or exemption notice) 
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Child Safety and Personal History Check (LCS)
