About the Role

We are seeking an organised and detail-focused Accounts Payable Officer to support the financial administration of our Support at Home services.

Working closely with our finance and service-delivery teams, you will process supplier invoices and client-related transactions using Sandwai, maintain accurate financial records and help ensure payments are completed correctly and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Process and verify supplier invoices, expenses and payment requests.
• Match invoices with service records and supporting documentation in Sandwai.
• Assist with financial processing for Support at Home clients.
• Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare payment batches in accordance with approval processes.
• Maintain accurate supplier, client and transaction records.
• Respond promptly to enquiries from suppliers, staff and service providers.
• Assist with month-end reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Follow internal controls, funding requirements and organisational policies.
• Identify missing or incorrect information and work with relevant teams to resolve it.

About You

You will be methodical, dependable and comfortable working with detailed financial information. You will also bring:

• Previous accounts payable, bookkeeping or finance-administration experience.
• Strong data-entry, reconciliation and numerical skills.
• Experience using accounting or care-management software.
• Experience with Sandwai is highly regarded.
• Knowledge of aged care, community care or Support at Home services is desirable.
• Confidence using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• A commitment to confidentiality, accuracy and quality service.
• The right to work in Australia (Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Working with Children Check (WWCC) (required if successful)
• NDIS worker screening ID (required if successful)
