The mission of Kids Therapy Clinics is to empower children and transform lives through compassionate, goal-oriented care that promotes growth and success.Role Description The Front Desk Receptionist is a full-time, on-site role based in Sydney, NSW, responsible for providing a welcoming and professional first point of contact for children, families, and visitors. Day-to-day tasks include greeting clients, managing check-in and check-out procedures, answering and directing phone calls, and responding to general inquiries. The role involves scheduling and confirming appointments, maintaining accurate client records, and supporting therapists with basic administrative tasks. The Receptionist will handle incoming and outgoing mail, process payments, and keep the reception and waiting areas clean and organized. This position requires consistent, compassionate communication with families and efficient coordination of front desk operations to support smooth clinic workflows.
Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and compassionately with children, families, and team members.Proficiency in receptionist duties and clerical skills, including appointment scheduling, record keeping, and basic office administration.Demonstrated phone etiquette, including managing multiple calls, handling inquiries, and directing calls appropriately.Comfort using computers and clinic management or scheduling software; basic proficiency in email, word processing, and spreadsheets.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail in a busy clinical environment.Previous experience in a healthcare, therapy, or child-focused setting is highly regarded.Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to privacy requirements.Relevant certification or training in administration, customer service, or healthcare reception is an advantage.experience with Splose, Cliniko or similiar an advantage.
