ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager (Electrical) to join our Resources team supporting the long-term Civil and Electrical Construction scopes.

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of projects from planning through to completion. You will oversee project performance across safety, quality, programme and commercial outcomes, while coordinating project teams, subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure works are delivered efficiently and in line with client and contractual requirements.

Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Identify opportunities in the resource sector, mainly in North West WA to help expand Ertech’s electrical capability in that region.
• Bid manage these opportunities, have ownership of the tendering process.
• Turn the opportunities into Contracts and then lead these Contracts from award, to planning, to execution, to completion. Have full ownership from opportunity to completion.
• Support existing projects that Ertech currently has on Barrow Island and Wheatstone.
• Manage project planning, scheduling and financial performance, including forecasting, cost control, variations and reporting, while proactively identifying and mitigating project risks.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met and communication remains clear and effective throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee subcontractor engagement and procurement activities, ensuring works are delivered in line with contractual requirements, quality standards and project timelines.
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies, legislative requirements and HSE procedures across all project activities.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering collaboration, accountability and high performance while driving continuous improvement across project delivery.

To be successful, you will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager delivering major construction projects.
• Hold a Tertiary Qualification in Electrical Engineering and possess a strong technical background as an Electrical Engineer.
• Proven leadership skills with a track record of building and managing self-performing teams.
• MUST hold valid Australian Working Rights
