About:As a WA Account Manager with our client, you will play a pivotal role in expanding market presence, fostering long-term customer relationships, and achieving ambitious targets. Your primary focus will be delivering superior outcomes for new customers through a consultative selling approach, with excellent communication, with high emotional intelligence staying aware of market trends and customer needs.

While our client is known for superior preventative & corrective maintenance services, they have in-house design & manufacturing capabilities while also being a recognised distributor of some of the world's leading hydraulic components such as pumps, valves, actuators, drives, motor units and so on…and supply to the heavy industries of Australia (Mining, Agriculture, Construction) - virtually any industry that operate hydraulic equipment as part of mobile or fixed plan operations. Experiencing remarkable expansion in the past decade since their establishment, they are actively looking for an enthusiastic WA Sales Engineer to join their team. This role involves spearheading growth initiatives, cultivating relationships, and making valuable contributions to our continued success.Key Responsibilities

• Identify and target potential customers through research, networking, and outreach, ensuring a continuous pipeline of qualified leads.
• Understand customers' unique challenges and goals, offering tailored solutions and value-driven recommendations.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, fostering trust and loyalty through your excellent interpersonal skills.
• Consistently meet or exceed sales targets, contributing to the company's overall growth and success.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market developments to adapt strategies and messaging accordingly.
• Develop and implement a strategic sales plan that aligns with company objectives, targeting specific market segments and customer profiles.
• Demonstrate impeccable communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and concisely. .
• Work closely with other teams, including marketing and product development, to align strategies, share customer insights, and provide feedback for product improvement.

Benefits

• Base salary between $115,000 - $125,000 plus superannuation (12%)

What we are looking forTo be considered for this role, we're open to candidates that exhibit any of the following profiles: Profile 1: You are a Hydraulic Fitter by trade and are looking to get off the tools and into sales
Profile 2: You have prior practical experience hydraulic fitting and sales experience of any kind and are looking to make a career move back into the heavy industries (note: your sales exp does not need to be in the hydraulic sector)
Profile 3: You have proven experience selling mobile or fixed plant equipment, or attachments, or virtually any mechanical piece of equipment and you have more than an introductory knowledge base of hydraulic equipment.What can we offer?
