About us

Since 2011, Pro Civil Works has specialised in underground electrical utilities and associated civil infrastructure throughout NSW.

Our works include trenching and excavation, pit and conduit installation, concrete footings, earthing grids, cable infrastructure, reinstatement and associated civil works.

We work across Sydney, the Central Coast and Regional NSW and have built a strong reputation for safely delivering high-quality civil works for major infrastructure and utility clients.

About the role

As a Civil Labourer, you will work as part of our civil crews supporting the delivery of electrical utility and infrastructure projects.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• General civil construction and labouring duties

• Assisting excavator operators and other plant operators

• Trenching, excavation and backfilling works

• Pit, conduit and underground service installation

• Concrete and footing works

• Site establishment and pack-up

• Spotting plant and equipment

• Use of hand and power tools

• Loading, unloading and movement of materials

• Site clean-up and maintaining tidy work areas

• Working around existing underground services

• Following SWMS, site procedures and safety requirements

• Working closely with supervisors, operators and other crew members

What we're looking for

• Full Australian working rights essential

• Current White Card essential

• Current full Australian driver's licence essential

• Current Police Check or ability to obtain one required

• Previous civil construction or utilities experience highly regarded

• Experience working around underground services highly regarded

• Ausgrid training/authorisations an advantage

• HR/MR truck licence an advantage

• Excavator, skid steer, roller, EWP, dogging or other plant tickets an advantage

• Strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team

• Reliable, punctual and safety focused

• Willingness to undertake overtime and after-hours work when required

• Ability to travel throughout NSW from time to time for project-based work and rostered swings
