About the Physiotherapy Department:
The Physiotherapy Department is committed to promoting the highest levels of care for our patients. In realising this goal, the department will lead and excel in research, teaching and the use of person-centred evidence-based practice. The department provides services on all three campuses of Austin Health, from the Emergency Department through to bed-based services and ongoing ambulatory care.
About the role:
As an Allied Health Assistant working in the Austin Health Physiotherapy department you will work collaboratively with the treating clinicians and wider physiotherapy department to provide safe, effective, patient centred care. This role is a rotational position allowing the successful candidate the opportunity to gain experience and expertise in acute, sub-acute and outpatient clinical settings.

Someone who is compassionate and dedicated to providing excellent patient centred care. Someone who works hard to improve patient centred outcomes related to their physical activity or function in a hospital or community setting. Highly developed communication skills and an ability to interact with people from culturally diverse and socio demographic backgrounds.
