MW Civil & Earthmoving is a WA-owned and operated civil contracting company specialising in civil engineering solutions across the mining, energy and defence sectors.

We operate across all regions of Australia and are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced Project Engineers to manage civil projects from planning through to completion.

This role requires flexibility to work across Western Australia, the Northern Territory and metropolitan areas, supporting projects involving bulk earthworks, solar farm construction, FRP works, utility installation, detailed earthworks and concrete works.

We are looking for a motivated Project Engineer who is ready to showcase their skill set, take ownership of project delivery and grow within a fast-paced civil contracting environment.

As Project Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering civil project activities in line with client requirements, design specifications, budgets and project timelines. You will work closely with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

• Plan, coordinate and execute civil project activities in line with design specifications, budgets and timelines.

• Oversee site operations, ensuring quality, safety and compliance with client requirements and industry standards.

• Coordinate utility installation works, particularly during bulk earthworks, detailed earthworks and concrete works.

• Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, clients and internal project teams.

• Prepare and review project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, cost estimates and project records.

• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks to support smooth project delivery.

• Identify and manage variations, project costings and cost analysis.

• Monitor project performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure stakeholder satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have experience delivering civil construction projects and a strong understanding of site-based project coordination. You will be proactive, organised and confident working in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change quickly.

You will bring:

• Previous experience as a Project Engineer within civil construction or earthmoving.

• Experience in bulk earthworks, detailed earthworks, concrete works, utilities, solar farm construction or FRP delivery.

• Strong planning, reporting and cost-control skills.

• The ability to work effectively with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients.

• A strong commitment to safety, quality and project outcomes.

• Flexibility to work across regional and metropolitan project locations.
