We are looking for an ambitious and motivated Assistant Used Vehicle Sales Manager to join our high-performing dealership team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced automotive sales professional who is ready to take the next step into leadership and play a key role in driving used vehicle sales, customer satisfaction and team performance.

About the Role

Working closely with the Used Vehicle Sales Manager, you will help lead the used vehicle sales team and ensure the department consistently delivers strong results.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Used Vehicle Sales Manager with the day-to-day operation of the used vehicle department

• Assisting with coaching, mentoring and motivating the sales team

• Driving sales performance, gross profit and customer satisfaction

• Supporting sales staff through the full sales process

• Assisting with appraisals, trade-ins and vehicle valuations

• Monitoring stock levels, pricing and vehicle presentation

• Following up leads and opportunities to maximise conversion

• Ensuring dealership sales processes and compliance requirements are maintained

• Helping create a positive, accountable and high-performance team culture

• Stepping into the Used Vehicle Sales Manager's role when required

• Selling is still required.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has proven experience in automotive vehicle sales

• Is ready to take the next step into a leadership position

• Has a strong understanding of used vehicle sales and stock management

• Is commercially minded and motivated by achieving targets

• Leads by example and knows how to get the best out of a team

• Has excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Is highly organised, energetic and customer focused

• Has a strong work ethic and a genuine desire to succeed

• Holds a current Australian driver's licence

Previous experience in automotive sales role will be highly regarded.
