F&B Duty Manager

We are seeking a motivated and experienced F&B Duty Manager to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Director of Food & Beverage, this role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Restaurant, Bar and other F&B outlets, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high service standards in line with the hotel’s brand.

The successful candidate will be required to:

• Manage day-to-day operations across all F&B outlets

• Lead, train, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service

• Supervise security arrangements and outlets maintenance

• Ensure legal compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards

• Monitor service quality and resolve guest concerns in a timely and professional manner

• Assist with rostering, staffing levels, and performance management

• Support cost control initiatives, including stock management and waste minimisation

• Collaborate with the kitchen and events teams to promote all products and ensure seamless service delivery

• Maintain strong product knowledge and promote upselling opportunities to ensure targeted profit achieved

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or duty manager position within Food and Beverage & Bar operations

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Proven ability to work in a structured, high-volume hospitality environment

• Solid understanding of hospitality operations, including restaurant, bar, and events service

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays

• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of relevant Australian workplace health and safety regulations

• Relevant qualification in Hospitality Management or equivalent practical knowledge and experience

• RSA certification (required)
