We are working with a leading insurer to source an underwriter or senior underwriter with exceptional deal making capabilities and strong technical nous. The role brief is to retain existing profitable business and drive the growth of their liability / casualty portfolio.

The role

• Actively engage the market for new business opportunities
  

• Compliment new business activities with sound technical underwriting knowledge
  

• Manage international and domestic broker relationships
  

• Underwrite primary and excess layers
  

• Develop and execute portfolio strategy
  

• Underwrite exposure to diverse industries
