Fully Qualified / Experienced Diploma Educator + Experienced ECT

We are a boutique early education and care service in Bungendore, NSW about 30mins from Canberra ACT. We are a centre with the capacity to care for and guide up to 40 children a day. We will have a strong focus on nature play and risky play and supporting Educators in developing their professional capacity.

We are seeking a Fully Qualified /Experienced Diploma Educator & an Experienced ECT to be a part of our team. You will value building meaningful relationships with families, educators and children. You will be a strong advocate for children's rights and be inclusive of all people in our community.

We are seeking for an experienced Diploma educator to be a room leader in our wonderful toddler room. So, if you are interested in a lead position and up for the challenge of running a room with a wonderful team by your side then our toddler room is perfect for such an opportunity.

The roles and responsibilities of a diploma level educator may include, but are not limited to:

• supporting and leading children's learning and development

• designing, planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs and practices, including following and implementing an approved learning framework

• supporting the health, wellbeing, learning and development of children

• working with community members and external agencies

• providing leadership and support

• leading and contributing to service delivery that meets the National Quality Standards

• managing a variety of education and care services, and

• ensuring compliance with service policies and national and/or state-based legislation.

Essential Qualifications:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

• Current Working with Children Check (NSW)

• Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willing to get)

The roles and responsibilities of the ECT may include but are not limited to:

• designing, planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs and practices, including following and implementing an approved learning framework.

• leading and supporting the wellbeing, learning and development of children

• providing pedagogical leadership.

• coaching, mentoring and supervising staff.

• building and maintaining strong relationships with children and their families.

• complying with, and supporting other educators to comply with, service policies and legislation.

• working with community members and external agencies.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Care (Birth-5)

• Current Working with Children Check (NSW)

• Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willing to get)
