FBT Transwest is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join our Smithfield team. This full-time role is essential to the safe and efficient movement, storage and handling of Dangerous Goods (DG) and non-DG products within our warehouse operations.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• Operating forklifts safely and efficiently within a busy warehouse environment

• Loading, unloading, moving and storing goods while ensuring product integrity

• Handling DG and non-DG materials in accordance with company procedures and safety requirements

• Completing accurate inventory movements and assisting with stocktakes

• Following all workplace health and safety procedures and reporting hazards or incidents

• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment

• Working collaboratively with warehouse, transport and yard teams

• Performing general warehouse duties as required

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current and valid forklift licence

• Minimum 2 years’ forklift experience within a warehouse, distribution or logistics environment

• Experience handling DG products (highly desirable)

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• A strong commitment to safe work practices and following procedures
