Electrician - Leading Hand

About the role

As a Project Electrician - Leading Hand with Q Power, you'll work as part of the Projects team delivering commercial electrical installations from construction through to completion. You'll work on commercial electrical projects across Gold Coast, Logan, Brisbane and Ipswich.

Key responsibilities

• Commercial electrical installation and fit-off

• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, plans and specifications

• Working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, Foremen and other trades

• Planning and coordinating work around project programs and deadlines

• Identifying issues early and communicating them clearly

• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship

• Completing required project and site documentation

• Maintaining strong WHS and electrical safety standards

• Representing Q Power professionally on clients' sites

About you

• Current Queensland Electrical Work Licence

• Demonstrated experience on $1M–$2M electrical projects

• Strong commercial construction electrical experience

• Confidence reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications

• Good understanding of project programs, deadlines and site requirements

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a project team

• Strong commitment to WHS

• Current driver's licence
