Conveyancing Paralegal

Woods Hatcher Solicitors have been operating on the Gold Coast for over 35 years.  We are a well-established law firm located in Coomera and Isle of Capri and are looking to grow our team.

An opportunity has become available for a full-time Conveyancing Paralegal in our firm’s busy Coomera office to join our conveyancing team.

The key duties and responsibilities of the role are:

• operate your own files from A-Z under the supervision of our Partners/Solicitors

• liaising directly with clients and other parties involved in matters

• preparation of all relevant conveyancing documents and correspondence necessary for the conduct of conveyance matters

• answering phones, dealing with enquiries and providing quotes to prospective conveyancing clients

• assisting with paralegal tasks for commercial or other matters

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Good work culture and work ethic

• Experience operating your own residential conveyancing files (including pre-registration contracts) from beginning to completion – minimum two (2) years required

• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

• Knowledge of LEAP, PEXA and QRO Online 

• Ability and confidence to work in a high volume, fast paced and demanding environment

• Warm and friendly relational skills with the ability to build relationships with new and existing clients

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Effective time management and organisational skills
