Based on the Sunshine Coast and established in 1989 Update Cabinets is a small family-owned business with a team of 12. We work on a wide range of medium to high end cabinetry projects. We're dedicated to providing our customers with excellent service and quality cabinetry with an eye for detail. 

We are looking for a qualified Cabinet Maker / Installer to join our team. This is a full-time role with overtime option as needed. 50 % Factory work ,50 % site work as required .

About the role- what you will be doing

Update Cabinets is seeking an experienced Cabinetmaker / Installer to join our growing team on the Sunshine Coast. This is a full-time permanent position for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in delivering high-quality installation for custom kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, wardrobes, and various built-in cabinetry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assembly of cabinetry following well detailed cabinetry plans

• Install custom kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, and built-in cabinetry

• Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications

• Perform accurate measurements, adjustments, and finishing on-site

• Work with premium materials and high-end hardware

• Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship

• Collaborate with the production and design team
  

ABOUT YOU

.Minimum 3 years full-time experience as a Cabinetmaker / Installer

.Proven skills in cabinetry installation and site work

.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

.Ability to work independently and as part of a team

.Current Queensland White Card (Construction Induction)

.Current driver’s licence and own transport

. Trade Qualified Cabinetmaker

. Own tools

. A Team player with a Positive attitude and good problem-solving skills
