Our design, construction and maintenance services help keep electricity flowing to homes and businesses, while supporting the transition to renewable energy and a more resilient grid.

Our 2027 Apprenticeship Program is your opportunity to earn while you learn, gain a nationally recognised qualification and build a long-term career in the high voltage industry. You don't need previous trade or electrical experience to get started. In fact, high voltage may be a career you've never considered before. If you're motivated to learn, we'll provide the training, experience and support to help you succeed.

• Hands-on experience: Work alongside highly qualified, skilled and experienced professionals on a wide range of major high voltage projects across South Australia.
• Quality training and mentoring: Develop your skills through structured training, mentoring and practical experience, with support from experienced people who want to see you succeed.
• Career growth: Rotations across a range of workgroups and projects will help you build the skills and experience to progress your career.
Competitive remuneration: Earn above-award rates, including mature-aged apprentice rates, plus allowances, overtime at double time, and up to $900 towards your electricity bill.

• Enjoy practical, hands-on work and being part of a team
• Be committed to learning and completing the practical and theoretical training required for a trade qualification
• Be able to safely perform the physical requirements of the role, including working outdoors and, depending on your pathway, at heights
• Be comfortable travelling to remote areas of SA and spending periods away from home
• Have a current driver's licence (full or provisional)

About the process

We’re looking forward to getting to know you. Our recruitment process will include:

• An online assessment that includes aptitude and mechanical reasoning
• Online and face-to-face interviews
• Heights and dexterity tests
• A comprehensive pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol test)
• A criminal history check
• A Driver’s Licence History Report (please refer to the FAQ for information on this report)
