Customer Service Officer

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Customer Service Officer to join the team at A G Pulie. This is a full-time position based in Granville NSW 2142. As a Customer Service Officer, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support across multiple communication channels. You will play a vital role in maintaining our reputation for outstanding customer care whilst handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role is integral to our business operations and directly impacts the quality of service we deliver to our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

• Answer incoming customer calls and emails in a professional and courteous manner

• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and effectively, escalating complex issues where necessary

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions in the company database

• Process customer requests, orders, and transactions accurately and efficiently

• Provide product and service information to customers in a clear and helpful way

• Follow company policies and procedures whilst maintaining quality standards

• Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and suggest process improvements

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistent service delivery

• Meet or exceed performance targets and key performance indicators

What we're looking for

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain information clearly

• Excellent listening skills and the ability to empathise with customer concerns

• Patience and professionalism when dealing with challenging situations

• Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple inquiries simultaneously

• Basic computer literacy and proficiency with customer service software and systems

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on achieving positive customer outcomes

• Attention to detail and accuracy when processing information

• Previous customer service experience is preferred but not essential for the right candidate

• Availability to work during standard business hours and flexibility for roster requirements
