About Echo
Echo is a not-for-profit organisation proudly delivering inclusive employment services across South East Melbourne. We empower people to achieve their goals by connecting them to meaningful, sustainable employment opportunities through the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program.
We're looking for a motivated Career Advisor to work across our sites in Narre Warren, Cranbourne and Pakenham to help connect job seekers with meaningful employment opportunities while building strong relationships with local employers.
This is a hands-on, people-focused role that combines customer service and sales. You'll be expected to proactively contact employers through phone calls, networking, and face-to-face visits to generate employment opportunities for participants. If you're confident starting conversations, building new relationships, and working towards targets, you'll thrive in this role.
What You'll Do
Build relationships with employers to create job opportunities
Cold call, network, and conduct employer visits
Support participants with job readiness, resumes, and interview preparation
Match participants to suitable vacancies
Provide post-placement support to employers and participants
Maintain accurate records and compliance requirements
What You'll Bring
