People Advisor

About this opportunity

As the People Advisor, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of People services across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring consistent, compliant, and high-quality HR operations. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee HR processes, support employee experience initiatives, and drive continuous improvement across systems and workflows while leading a small team of Caregiver Coaches and support staff.

Reporting to the Business Operations Manager, this role will work closely with leaders across the region to support our caregivers and office-based teams, helping to create a positive, compliant and engaged workforce.

Based in our Perth Metro region across our Osborne Park and Clarkson offices (primarily Osborne Park), you’ll join a collaborative, values-driven team where your leadership and HR expertise will support scalable, consistent, and high-quality people practices.

Key responsibilities

Lead and support a small team of Caregiver Coaches and support staff, including allocating workload, setting priorities, and coaching for performanceOversee HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, employee records, and compliance with legislation and internal policiesManage and maintain HR data integrity, reporting, and workforce metricsCoordinate recruitment and onboarding processesManage workers’ compensation and injury management processesDrive process improvement initiatives and optimise HR systemsSupport employee experience initiatives including performance reviews and engagement activitiesAct as a key escalation point for employee relations matters

About you

You are an experienced HR professional who thrives on leading teams, improving processes, and delivering high-quality people outcomes. You bring a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and are confident working in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll also have:

Demonstrated experience in HR operations or generalist HR rolesStrong understanding of employment legislation and compliance requirementsProven ability to lead and develop a small teamExperience managing HR systems, data, and reportingStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities

A qualification in Human Resources (or working towards one) will be highly regarded but is not essential.
