About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and talented chefs who strives in exceeding guests' expectations and wants to join a team that priorities diversity, inclusion in a professional and fun working environment

As a Commis Chef in our Banquets Kitchen, you will be responsible to prepare consistent, high-quality food products in line with Hyatt Standards.

Some of the responsibilities include

• Assisting in preparation of ingredients
• Follow recipes and ensure consistency in food preparation for large-scale banquet events.
• To maintain the assigned station / section in a clean and orderly manner at all times.
• Cook and assemble dishes under the supervision of senior chefs.

A successful candidate will have:

• Minimum 1 year work experience
• Experience in luxury international brands, highly regarded
• Qualification in Commercial Cookery
• Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards will be essential.
• A true desire to exceed guest expectations in a fast paced customer service environment

Qualifications
