About the role

Full-time, permanent position
Base salary $80-$92K (based on experience)

The Role

The ABC receives FOI requests seeking access to documents that may be held by the ABC. The FOI Coordinator reports to the Senior FOI Officer and provides high-level support in a tight knit team.

Tasks include end-to-end file management, assisting with legal research, regulatory reporting requirements, redacting and organising documents, drafting and proofreading correspondence, maintaining stakeholder relationships, and ad hoc tasks.

The Job

Create, organise and maintain files in accordance with file management procedure, including use of electronic filing systems and Microsoft Office tools.
Under the guidance of the relevant FOI Officer, review, file and organise various documents. Redact exempt documents as directed.
Draft clear, accurate correspondence under direction and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain a database of incoming FOI requests, diarise and monitor deadlines.
Provide all necessary administrative support including diary and meeting management, processing invoices, tracking expenditure, creating reports or briefs, and ad hoc duties.

About You

Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to effectively plan, prioritise and manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Well-developed research and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, accurate and professional correspondence, reports and other documentation.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders while handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proven ability to manage and maintain large volumes of information, applying established processes and ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgement and make accurate, detail-focused decisions within established guidelines.
