Watts Group SA is one of the bigger names in asbestos removal and demolition in South Australia, with offices in Adelaide, Mount Gambier and the Riverland. We work across SA, Victoria and NSW, hold A and B Class removal licences, and we're certified to ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001. Our Adelaide operation is growing and we're building the team to match.

Who we're after

• A Class Supervisors — you hold SafeWork SA-recognised Class A supervisor accreditation (or you've done the training and the experience is nearly there) and you can run friable jobs end to end

• B Class Supervisors — you hold Class B supervisor accreditation and can run non-friable removal jobs with your own crew

• Removalists and Labourers — you hold a Class B removal ticket and white card, or you're ready to get them. Experience is great but attitude matters more. We'll train and ticket people who show up and work.

What the work looks like

Asbestos removal, demolition and strip-out projects across metro Adelaide and regional SA — residential, commercial and government. Supervisors run their jobs from setup to clearance. Removalists and labourers work in tight crews with proper gear, proper procedures and supervisors who know what they're doing.

What you'll need

• Current driver's licence (MR licence a bonus)

• White card, or willingness to get one before starting

• For removalist roles: Class B removal ticket, or willingness to obtain — we'll point you at the training

• For supervisor roles: the relevant SafeWork SA-recognised supervisor accreditation as above

• Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical, national police check and licence verification

• Willingness to travel for regional projects when needed — living away from home provisions apply

What's on offer

• Supervisors: permanent roles at $42 to $45 an hour base depending on experience and class, plus overtime and allowances under the award, with possibility of a company vehicle — with overtime you're looking at $90,000 to $100,000+ a year

• Removalists and labourers: $38 to $45 an hour casual rate (includes casual loading), depending on experience and tickets, plus overtime and allowances under the award — permanent positions available for the right people

• Paid training and ticket upgrades for people who put their hand up

• Ongoing work with a growing, ISO-certified business where you're not just a number
