SA Health is building a Casual Talent Pool for Enrolled Nurses at Port Lincoln Hospital, open through to 30 June 2027, and we're looking for practitioners who are ready to contribute to care that makes a real difference, far from the metro rush.

Your Role at Port Lincoln Hospital

As a casual Enrolled Nurse within the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network, you'll work under the supervision of Registered Nurses to deliver safe, person-centred care across inpatient and general ward settings at Port Lincoln Hospital. Day to day, you can expect to:

• Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration within your enrolled scope of practice
• Accurately document patient assessments, observations, and care plans
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient flow and continuity of care
• Contribute to a culture of safety, dignity, and respect for every patient and family member

What You'll Bring

• Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
• Working knowledge of enrolled nursing scope of practice under NMBA standards
• Competency in medication administration (notation of any conditions on registration required)
• Sound clinical communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively within a small regional hospital team where flexibility across ward areas is routine
