The Opportunity:

The Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful delivery of business, technology and operational projects across the SPC environment. 
The role is accountable for project planning, stakeholder engagement, governance, risk management, vendor coordination, business readiness and transition to BAU.
The Project Manager works across corporate, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, operations, technology and vendor teams to ensure projects are delivered in line with approved scope, timeframes, budgets, quality expectations and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project delivery from initiation through to closure.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, dependencies and success measures.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, budgets and resource requirements.
• Manage delivery against approved scope, timelines, cost and quality expectations.
• Ensure project outcomes are practical, sustainable and aligned to business priorities.
• Drive project execution across business, technology, manufacturing and vendor teams.
• Establish and maintain appropriate project governance structures, forums and escalation pathways.
• Prepare project status reports, steering committee updates and executive-level reporting.
• Maintain oversight of project risks, issues, actions, decisions, dependencies and financials.
• Proactively identify, assess, manage and escalate project risks and delivery blockers.
• Ensure project documentation is complete, current and aligned to CPMO standards.
• Support project closure, lessons learned, benefits tracking and post-implementation reviews.
• Lead engagement with business owners, operational leaders, technology teams, vendors and senior stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into clear project scope, delivery plans and implementation requirements.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate decision-making and ensure key decisions are captured, communicated and actioned.
• Build trusted working relationships across corporate and site-based teams.
• Ensure project delivery considers manufacturing operations, production schedules, supply chain impacts, site readiness and business continuity requirements.
• Coordinate delivery activities across manufacturing sites, warehouses, operational teams and corporate functions.
• Plan implementation activity around operational constraints, seasonal demand, production windows and site dependencies.
• Ensure affected business areas are prepared for changes to systems, processes, roles or ways of working.
• Manage IT-enabled project delivery involving business applications, ERP platforms, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, reporting and process improvement.
• Work with technology teams and vendors to ensure technical deliverables are aligned to business requirements.
• Manage vendor deliverables, dependencies, performance, actions and escalation points.
• Ensure technology outcomes align with architecture, cybersecurity, service management and support requirements.
• Support effective transition to BAU, including support models, documentation, training and handover.
• Identify business change impacts and ensure appropriate readiness activities are planned and delivered.
• Support training, communications, implementation planning and adoption activities.
• Ensure go-live readiness, cutover planning and post-go-live support arrangements are in place.
• Work with business owners to embed project outcomes and support benefits realisation.

The successful candidate will have:

• Project management qualification desirable, such as PRINCE2, PMP, PMBOK, Agile or equivalent experience.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in business, technology, engineering, supply chain or a related discipline desirable.
• Project management experience in FMCG, manufacturing, supply chain or operational environments.
• Experience delivering IT or technology-enabled projects, including ERP, business applications, infrastructure, cyber, data or reporting.
• Experience managing vendors, internal teams and senior business stakeholders.
• Experience working across corporate and site-based environments
• Experience preparing project governance, steering committee and executive reporting materials
• Strong project planning, delivery and governance discipline.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to manage cross-functional business, technology, manufacturing and vendor teams.
• Practical understanding of FMCG, manufacturing, supply chain and site-based operations.
• Strong risk, issue, dependency, budget and reporting management capability.
• Ability to support business readiness, adoption and transition to BAU.
