About the Role

You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. It is one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history of serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring. 

This role provides senior clinical leadership and team management within Adult Drug Court, Drug Health Services. It involves mentoring and supporting staff, maintaining a clinical caseload, and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The role also requires liaising with key stakeholders, including Justice Health and the Downing Centre Local Court, and case managing clients for up to 12 months as part of the Adult Drug Court Program.

Ideal Candidate
 

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in Social Work which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.

• Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of Social Work services in the field of Drug & Alcohol.
• Extensive experience and demonstrated ability in building and maintaining professional and therapeutic relationships through the application of written, verbal, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Demonstrated ability to apply and share expert drug & alcohol knowledge with colleagues and other health professionals to enhance service delivery.
