Role Description This full-time, on-site Teacher role at Sunbury Downs College in Sunbury, VIC involves planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with curriculum requirements and school policies. The Teacher will prepare instructional materials, facilitate classroom learning, assess student progress through assignments and assessments, and provide constructive feedback. Responsibilities include maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment, supporting diverse learning needs, and communicating regularly with students, families, and colleagues. The Teacher will participate in staff meetings, professional development activities, and school events, and contribute to collaborative planning and continuous improvement initiatives.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Education skills, with experience delivering curriculum-aligned instruction and supporting diverse learners.Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning and Training skills to design structured, outcomes-focused learning experiences.Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for engaging students, collaborating with colleagues, and interacting professionally with families and the school community.Relevant teaching qualifications, registration or eligibility to register with the appropriate education authority, and experience in a school environment are highly beneficial.Demonstrated classroom management capabilities, commitment to student wellbeing, and willingness to participate in ongoing professional learning are advantageous.
