About The Opportunity

This is a full-time permanent role with an immediate start. As an Electrical Tradesman, the majority of your work will be residential solar installations — the core of our client’s business — with air conditioning installs and general electrical work rounding out your days depending on project needs. Work is insurance-based, clean, and on quality builds.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Completing air conditioning installations as required
• Using ServiceM8 (or similar field service software) for job scheduling and documentation
• Performing maintenance and fault-finding on existing solar and electrical systems
• Operating autonomously on site while maintaining clear communication with the team
• Carrying out insurance-based electrical work to a high standard on residential properties
• Installing residential solar PV systems, including panels, inverters, and battery storage

About You

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• A valid driver’s licence
• A current Electrical Licence (mandatory)
• Familiarity with ServiceM8 is a bonus but not a dealbreaker
• Experience in the solar industry is strongly preferred
• A minimum of 1 year’s post-qualification experience in the electrical trade
• SAA (Solar Accreditation Australia) accreditation, or a genuine commitment to completing this, our client will support the right person through training
