Job Description

About You

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Order Management Team Leader to lead a high-performing team responsible for the accurate and timely processing of customer orders.

This role sits at the centre of our operations, acting as the key link between customers, internal teams, and the warehouse to ensure every order is delivered efficiently and accurately.

You’ll be leading within a fast-paced, high-volume environment, where strong prioritisation, attention to detail, and clear communication are critical to success.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop a team of Order Management SpecialistsManage workload, training, performance, leave approvals and employee relationsMaintain a strong team culture focused on accountability, collaboration and customer serviceProcess and oversee orders via EDI, web portal and email, in line with vendor requirementsEnsure calls, emails and requests are actioned within agreed SLAsResolve issues efficiently, escalating where requiredDrive continuous improvement across order management processesPartner closely with internal stakeholders (Sales, Product, Warehouse) to deliver the best customer outcomes

Desired Skills And Experience

What We’re Looking for

Proven leadership experience in order management or a similar fast-paced environmentStrong people management skills with a hands-on, lead-by-example approachSolid understanding of end-to-end order processing (ordering, receipting, invoicing, returns, payments)Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and maintain accuracyStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsProficiency in MS Office and ERP systemsA customer-focused mindset with high attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership
