Leasing Consultant – Property Management

About the role

This is a hands-on leasing role where you will manage the leasing process from preparing a property for market through to presenting quality applications to our Property Managers and Business Development Manager. You will be joining an established and supportive team with a strong focus on providing excellent service to our landlords and prospective tenants.

Key responsibilities

• Managing the leasing process from property listing through to preparing application summaries for the Property Manager and/or BDM

• Preparing and uploading rental listings across relevant online platforms

• Drafting high-quality advertising copy for new managements and re-let properties

• Arranging and attending professional photography and floor plan appointments where required

• Coordinating signboards, photography, keys and other property marketing requirements

• Conducting open homes and private inspections, including Saturday inspections where rostered

• Responding promptly and professionally to rental enquiries from prospective tenants

• Processing tenancy applications, including checking identification, income, rental history, references and tenancy databases

• Preparing detailed application summaries and recommendations for Property Managers and/or the BDM to present to property owners

• Assisting with Social Media posts for the Property Management team

About you

• Previous experience in leasing or property management roles

• Confident conducting inspections and communicating with prospective tenants

• Strong organisation and time-management skills

• Ability to manage a high volume of enquiries, applications and follow-ups without losing attention to detail

• Professional and confident communication with tenants, landlords and internal team members

• Proactive and understands the importance of following up

• Ability to assess leasing activity and provide practical recommendations when a property is not attracting the right level of enquiry

• Works well as part of a busy and supportive Property Management team

• Current QLD Real Estate Registration Certificate and driver's licence required
