We're looking for a Junior Service Desk Technician who is passionate about technology and eager to build a long-term career in IT. While this is an entry-level role, you'll be exposed to a wide range of technologies and work alongside experienced engineers who will help develop your skills.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving problems, learning new technologies, and helping people get the most from their IT systems.

About the Role

As a Junior Service Desk Technician, you'll be part of our service delivery team, assisting clients with day-to-day IT issues while building your knowledge across Microsoft 365, networking, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, and business IT systems.

You'll gain exposure to the same types of technologies used by our senior engineers, with training, mentoring, and support to help you grow your skills and confidence over time.

What You'll Do

• Respond to service desk tickets and assist clients with IT issues

• Troubleshoot PC, printer, software, and Microsoft 365 problems

• Assist with workstation deployments and device setups

• Support user onboarding and offboarding activities

• Participate in client projects alongside senior engineers

• Attend client sites when required

• Document solutions and maintain accurate records

• Learn and develop skills across networking, cloud, cybersecurity, and systems administration

Preferred Qualifications

• Certificate IV, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or similar qualification in Information Technology

• Networking certification (such as CompTIA Network+ or equivalent)

• Home lab, personal IT projects, or other hands-on technology experience highly regarded

• You've previously worked in a customer service role

• You've built PCs, managed home networks, or run your own IT projects

• You enjoy learning about new technology in your spare time

• You've had exposure to Microsoft 365, Windows Server, networking, or cybersecurity technologies

• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

• Current driver's licence

• Office hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
