The Opportunity:
The Social Inclusion and Vocational College department is committed to creating opportunities for young people who may have experienced barriers to mainstream education. Through flexible learning, vocational programs and holistic support, the team helps students reconnect with education, build confidence and develop the skills they need to move into further study, training or employment. It is a supportive and purpose-driven environment focused on inclusion, belonging and helping students achieve meaningful outcomes.
As the Teacher – Positive Behaviour Support Intervention, you will have the opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people by helping them re-engage with learning, build positive behaviours and strengthen their confidence in the classroom. You will design and deliver evidence-informed individual, small-group and classroom-based interventions, identify behavioural and engagement needs, and develop practical strategies that support each student’s participation and progress.
Working closely with students, teachers, wellbeing professionals, families and education leaders, you will help create an environment where young people feel supported, included and capable of succeeding. This is an ideal opportunity for an educator who is passionate about positive behaviour support, student engagement and inclusive education, and who wants to see the direct impact of their work on young people’s lives.

Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Victorian ‘employee’ Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
