Response Mutual Pty Ltd is an established heavy machinery and equipment hire business based in Wangara, Perth. We provide a range of heavy and light earthmoving machinery and equipment to customers across Perth and surrounding areas. Due to the continued growth of our business, we are seeking an experienced and reliable Truck Driver to join our team on a full-time basis.

The successful applicant will be primarily responsible for operating an HR truck to transport earthmoving machinery and equipment between our depot, customer sites and other locations across the Perth metropolitan area. The role may also involve operating HC vehicles when required for operational purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operating HR trucks to safely transport earthmoving machinery, equipment and other loads between the Response Hire depot, customer sites and other locations.

· Transporting and delivering machinery and equipment in accordance with scheduled delivery and collection requirements.

· Operating HC vehicles on an occasional basis when required for business operations.

· Loading, unloading, positioning and securing machinery and equipment safely for transportation.

· Using chains, binders and other appropriate load restraint equipment to safely secure loads in accordance with applicable WA requirements.

· Conducting daily vehicle pre-start inspections and reporting any mechanical, maintenance or safety issues.

· Maintaining vehicles and transport equipment in a safe and roadworthy condition and reporting defects as required.

· Planning and following appropriate delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely collection and delivery of machinery and equipment.

· Completing delivery, collection, vehicle and other transport documentation accurately.

· Using app-based software to record and manage equipment pick-ups, deliveries and drop-offs.

· Ensuring loads are transported safely and in compliance with applicable road transport, load restraint and workplace safety requirements.

· Communicating with customers and site personnel regarding deliveries and collections as required.

· Maintaining a high standard of safety and complying with company policies and procedures.

Key Requirements:

· Current HR driver's licence.

· Current HC driver's licence.

· Minimum one year of experience as a truck driver in a commercial transport, machinery transport or equipment delivery environment.

· Demonstrated experience with loading, unloading and securing heavy machinery or equipment.

· Good knowledge of heavy vehicle safety and load restraint requirements.

· Strong understanding of road safety and safe driving practices.

· Good communication and organisational skills.

· Ability to work independently, follow delivery schedules and meet agreed deadlines.

· Reliable, safety-focused and professional approach to work.
